In addition to educational benefits, Career Choice offers personalized career support to all Amazon employees. Through the program’s career services, you can access job search resources, get industry-related advising, or build skills in communication, interviewing, and resume writing.

What Is Coaching and How Does It Work?
Kaplan Coaching is a free benefit for all eligible Amazon employees. Once you schedule your appointment, you'll speak with an experienced professional who will help you build a personalized plan.
Keep in mind: it’s okay if you don’t know exactly where to start. Our Coaches are here to help you no matter where you are in your journey. Reach out to your Coach as often as you need—and know you have someone invested in your success on your side.

- Fully Funded: Amazon pays your full tuition, books, and fees up to an annual maximum—with no lifetime limit.
- One-on-One Coaching: Get the personalized help you need to identify your goals and build a plan to reach them—all at no cost.
- Expanded Eligibility: Full-time and part-time blue badge employees are eligible for coaching on day 1.
- Broad Network: Many schools and educational institutions are approved for you to choose from.
- Multiple Paths: Choose from programs that build educational foundations, like language, or lead to in-demand careers.
- Flexible Structure: Finish your program at your own pace with online or in-person options.
There are two different Career Choice appointment types, both of which can be completed via phone or video call based on your preference. See the descriptions below to find out which one is right for you.
Introductory Appointment
This appointment is for Amazon employees new to Career Choice Coaching and reaching out for the first time. Designed to be approximately 20 minutes, this appointment will explain the coaching process and the benefits available to you. It will also determine the best next steps based on your specific goals, whether you’re looking to continue your educational journey, access career services support, or both.
Returnee Appointment
This appointment is for Amazon employees who have used coaching services before. Designed to be approximately 20 minutes, this appointment will allow you to connect to the next available coach for additional help or to pursue another service.
Choosing this appointment type cannot guarantee that you will be placed with your initial coach. If you are interested in speaking with your initial coach, you can:
- Locate previous communications and find their email signature, which will include the option to schedule an appointment directly with them.
- If you don’t have access to prior communications, you can email our general inbox, amazon.careerchoice@kaplan.com, for support.

There’s no fee to use Kaplan’s coaching services. This is a free/no-cost benefit you have earned as an Amazon employee.
Your Kaplan Success Coach is here to provide you with the support you need to succeed. While we’ll be reaching out periodically, you can also connect with us whenever you need support, as often as needed.
